Total environmental cost management
Environmental issues have a significant bottom line impact, in excess of what many CEOs may think. Historically, the environment has cost manufacturing and petrochemical companies 2 to 4 percent of sales, and this may be understated by a factor of three to four. In other words, the environment actually may cost as much as 8 to 12 percent of sales. These estimates do not include externalities, which are increasingly likely to carry a future market cost.
PA's experts have helped companies understand the total cost of environmental issues for the business and to implement strategic decision-making processes to drive down these costs. We have helped businesses quantify expected environmental costs by developing models that account for environmental and regulatory scenarios with a low probability of occurrence - but extremely high potential.
PA works with clients by bringing together a multi-disciplinary team to tackle total cost assessment, drawing on the expertise of our environmental, financial, international economics and information technology experts.
