This national chain of pubs had just sold a number of its properties, leaving the original head office with a significantly reduced income and workload. A redesign of the corporate function was required.
The future strategy of the company was far from clear and reliable information was needed quickly to make and implement critical business decisions. The PA team rapidly analysed the strengths, weaknesses and challenges for the organisation and processes and organisational needs were defined and costed.
A new organisation structure was created, and departments were set targets for future savings and process improvements. Savings in the first year totalled £3 million, with a further £2 million anticipated in the following year.
