Major wireless operator - Customer-centric disaster recovery plan improves business performance

A major US wireless operator with over 15 million subscribers engaged PA Consulting Group to help develop a unified Disaster Recovery Plan across their national network. PA focused on turning the initial enthusiasm into action across the decentralized organization while developing a national capability to respond to events.
Building on global expertise in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning, PA developed a comprehensive framework to help protect core business operations in the event of a disaster, with a particular focus on mitigating impact to their customers. The program of work was completed within a three-month period and resulted in a major improvement in network performance and recovery in the event of a disaster.
