Applying genomics in clinical diagnostics - The role of software in reducing to practice genomic technologies in a clinical diagnostic environment

The challenge of bringing genomic technology from a research environment to a clinical diagnostic environment is increased by the fact that the result requires the collaboration of microarray manufacturer, IVD assay developer and clinician. The combined result must be safe, effective, economically feasible, and easily integrated into the clinical environment.
