Quick wins are an essential ingredient...
However, quick wins are only the ‘entrées’ in any ITIL implementation or Service Improvement project, and are not the main course.
Quick wins help to:
- provide a vision of potential future business benefits
- test concepts and demonstrate potential impact
- produce early benefits and generate valuable support.
By themselves, quick wins will typically fall well short of the real and sustainable benefits required to satisfy the business…
