The Board Development Partnership is a PA-led consortium with members including SHM Ltd, 2020 Delivery, Praesta and the Inspired Leadership Network.

Our team is built around:

People who have been Board members or worked as consultants at a Board level.
People who understand the health environment – ‘we speak your language’.
People who understand commissioning, and who understand the new environment for PCTs.
People who are likely to be considered as peers by our clients.
People who understand how to motivate.
A consortium that has the scale, depth and insights to deliver the development needs of PCT Boards.

We work with PCT Boards and their members:

Supporting their development into the strong leadership teams that are required in the complex and changing PCT environment.
Listening to what the PCT Boards want and tailoring support programmes to the specific needs of each Board and its individual members.
Leaving behind outcomes that have lasting impact in the PCT.
Taking on the role of peers and critical friends to support the personal and technical development of the Board and its members.
Supporting self-development of individual Board members.
