Davnet is an Internet protocol (IP) based broadband local access network operator based in Australia and providing a wide range of innovative services including broadband Internet access, Web hosting, IP based virtual private networks and video conferencing.

The Government of Singapore, in a surprise announcement on 21 January 2000, brought forward the date of full telecommunications market liberalization by two years from 1 April 2002 to 1 April 2000. Many companies were eager to capitalize on the opportunity to be one of the first new players in the market by obtaining an licence quickly. Davnet therefore invited PA Consulting Group to support its bid preparation in very tight timescales, ensuring that they were among the first round of licensees. Strict project management disciplines ensured timely completion of the bid, winning Davnet a licence among the world's leading telecoms players.
