Internet-based requisition system for the transport industry

Øresund Bridge Consortium chose not to launch a paper requisition system for tickets at the opening of the bridge in June 2000, preferring an electronic version: Øresundsbron iTicket.

The project was based on the principle that the system should be easy to use for customers of the Øresund Bridge. But the project itself was to involve four existing systems and seven suppliers.

PA was brought in as overall project manager and also to prepare the requirements specification, develop draft contracts, negotiate contracts with Web suppliers, co-ordinate all external suppliers, draw up test plans and carry out system tests.
