Managing the company's business change programme

Following the merger of the UK's North West Water and Norweb, United Utilities was created.  As a result the part of Norweb responsible for the distribution of electricity was created as part of a regulated utility division.  Norweb Distribution recognized they did not have the skills in-house to set up and project manage the change process and therefore approached PA to help ensure the necessary mechanisms were in place. As a result of the change process that was put in place, Norweb Distribution was able to meet the needs of its change drivers and also create an internally run change management process to cater for ongoing charges.
