Preparing for market liberalization with ERP
In 1999, NESA started work with PA Consulting Group on a project to investigate how IT systems could best be used to support the various business processes within the company. The project, which was completed in six months, involved an analysis of the existing systems in order to evaluate what advantages there could be in replacing them with new ones.
PA helped NESA analyze customer sales, logistics, maintenance, HR and financial management to establish where the advantages of replacing the existing systems with SAP R/3 would be the greatest. PA also prepared a strategy for implementing the SAP system.
