This international law firm has several thousand staff world-wide. Its IT department provides the firm with the full spectrum of IT services, from global infrastructure and a helpdesk, to the applications required for operating as a modern, digitally enabled law firm.
Following the appointment of a new IT director, PA was brought in to help shape the future of IT in the firm and to address two immediate problem areas - restructuring the project portfolio and reorganizing the IT function.
With PA's help, the law firm realigned its project portfolio with business needs, saving 40% of its project budget. New organizational structures, roles and processes were established to increase control of the project portfolio and to achieve improved customer service levels.
