A global Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company identified its existing plans as inadequate, and asked PA Consulting Group to help address their immediate needs and drive a program to address BC and DR strategy and implementation across the entire organization. This included the need to implement an immediate DR solution for a major, critical application, and to develop a global BC and DR program covering all critical business processes and applications.

This program has provided the client with an invaluable set of tools to identify and justify costs related to mitigating business continuity and disaster recovery weaknesses and overspend throughout the organization. The client now has a clear understanding of investment priorities, the criteria for arriving at those priorities, and the cost implications and saving opportunities over the next three years.
