Implementing a new customer information and billing system

 PA implemented customer billing and information systems on three separate networks and regional databases in anticipation of possible restructuring and privatization of the national utility. Customer information system software was customized to meet local requirements for tariffs, reports, and remote off-line operations. All customer billing and information records were consolidated into a single database at corporate headquarters for reporting purposes.

This assignment also included the redesign of processes to increase overall efficiency by decreasing the time needed to connect new customers, streamlining the data input and receipting processes, and introducing modern methods of error detection and bill/customer anomaly checks. Extensive hands-on assistance and training were provided.
