Payments risk management
PA's client, a major Australian bank, required a customer-to-settlement view of their payments risk exposure. Key areas for action included systems and controls, strategy formulation, organizational requirements and the formulation of a risk management function. PA designed the high-level risk map, interviews and data collection requirements, then conducted over 150 interviews in Australia, New Zealand, India and the Middle East. The data was collated, a gap analysis made against best practice and a way forward agreed.
PA provided the client with a best practice framework for payments risk management, a detailed gap analysis and a clear action plan for delivering a robust payments risk management framework.
