The Digital Network
Enabling UK broadcasters to launch the world's first digital terrestrial television network
The Digital Network (TDN) is a grouping of the UK's digital terrestrial broadcasters: ONdigital, the BBC, Digital 3 & 4 (which provide ITV and Channel 4) and SDN (which provides Channel 5 and S4C). TDN appointed PA to co-ordinate the technical implementation work to maximize the effectiveness of limited resources working against the tightest timeframes to introduce completely new technology, across multiple broadcasters and receivers. Through a co-ordinated pooling and channelling of resources, TDN successfully launched the world's first DTT network.
