Over £50 million realized in immediate shareholder value following its acquisition of Hambros Bank Limited

In acquiring Hambros Bank, Société Générale (SG) chose PA for the post-deal integration program, in recognition of its track record in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions work. PA managed an ambitious program of 14 parallel workstreams to completion within nine months. SG was spectacularly successful in achieving its objectives. The integration of Hambros Bank into SG was completed on schedule and under budget. Overall, the integration program generated at least £50 million net present value in cost-savings discounted over the five years following the deal.
