One of our clients had become a global organisation but was still attempting to meet its internal service needs at local level. It realised that by consolidating service provision it could improve cost control and find new opportunities for adding value.

PA helped to design, plan and create a global function for accounting and financial control of all shared services, retained staff, and external spend in support of a global outsourcing initiative in more than 100 countries and across several business divisions. Four global service providers were involved.

In just six weeks we not only defined the roles and profiles required for the new global function but helped to fill them by mapping them to skills and expertise available within the current organisation.
