ReliabilityOne™ Award
ReliabilityOne™ is PA's annual award honoring electric utilities that have excelled in the previous year in delivering reliable electrical energy to their customers. All utilities operating electric delivery networks in North America are eligible for consideration, and PA considers over 120 utilities a year.
PA uses a rigorous, quantitatively driven process to identify the very best performer in each region:
- analyzing standard reliability indices such as SAIDI, SAIFI and CAIDI
- including and excluding major events
- reviewing major event response and restoration
- examining outage management systems and processes
- certifying reliability results through evaluation of outage systems, policies and procedures.
