The survey which addresses the most critical issues on the HR manager's agenda was based on plus 300 responses, from HR managers or equivalent positions, to an e-survey. The report concludes that while HR strategies are now largely aligned with companies overall strategies, there is room for development in areas such as lack of knowledge a company's current and future competency needs, inadequate IT systems, and lack of understanding of how to use KPIs. One of the major challenges today is the HR function's ability to handle change and it's effects on an organisation.
