The annual NASSCOM India Leadership Forum (external link) in Mumbai from the 8th to the 10th February will involve over 150 speakers, 30 trade delegations and over 3000 delegates.

At a particularly exciting time for the sourcing industry, there are sure to be some interesting discussions and debates taking place. Throughout the three days, PA Consulting Group will be interviewing 20 industry leaders, and CEOs of suppliers and end user organisations alike, comparing their predictions from 2010 with the last few months and exploring how they feel 2011 will develop.

The theme for Nasscom 2011 is 'Drivers of the Decade'.  Key topics include subjects as wide-ranging as 'Building Alliances', 'Innovation', 'Cloud - Myth or Reality?' and 'The impact of globalised workforces'.

PA’s IT outsourcing research in 2010 suggested that as the industry matured, it was also frantically looking for the next big thing – be it cloud, innovation or outcome based models. The cloud emerged as the most used buzzword with smaller players enthused that the advent of cloud could act as a great leveller allowing them to compete against the larger players.

This year, there are sure to be IT outsourcing leaders exploring how to get fit for the future, including exploring issues such as; taking a smarter approach to sourcing in the cloud, making innovation work, managing transformation and developing leaders for tomorrow.
