The project gives government real visibility of information providing PfS with management information for every project, capturing data and allowing analysis at national, regional, school and even building-block level across three dimensions:
-
Time – providing information such as average procurement and school-opening timescales, driving continuous improvement
-
Cost – allowing accurate cashflow budget predictions and benchmarking of costs – essential given the significant sums involved
-
Quality – capturing build-quality data to make cost/quality comparisons.
PfS aims to secure £5 billion efficiency gains throughout the lifetime of this unprecedented capital investment programme.
