Office for Criminal Justice Reform
Helping the Office for Criminal Justice Reform bring 1.25 million offences to justice
The Office for Criminal Justice Reform wanted to strengthen public
confidence in the country’s criminal justice system, parachuting in
trouble-shooting teams to tackle urgent performance issues in areas
that ranged from increasing victim satisfaction to improving the
enforcement of court decisions. The Office asked PA to help with this
trouble-shooting programme because of our proven track record in
performance improvement and our commitment to sharing skills.
We worked alongside the trouble-shooting Performance Action Teams, providing hands-on support to 42 local criminal justice boards. One prime target - to bring 1.25 million offences to justice - was actually met before deadline and the number of outstanding warrants has fallen significantly.
