PA developed a powerful model to support the client in identifying their optimal network. This large scale model of the network enabled the evaluation of alternative strategies regarding the number and location of offices, different business models, products and services handled, and options regarding network coverage. Optimising the network over a 5-10 year period and presenting the financial position of the network at a granular level using the GIS mapping system has enabled them to visualise the effects of changing strategy, driving strategic change and planning for future capacity.
Working alongside a core client team, PA brought a pragmatic and dynamic approach to visualising and planning the network to improve strategy with a longer term vision, culminating in a series of scenarios which were accepted by senior management.
