In an interview with Danish IT publication Version2, PA expert in IT and social media Claus Hoyer Madsen explains how businesses can use social intelligence to learn more about the behaviour of their clients.

Claus says: “Many companies use social media defensively, by monitoring what is being said or written. However, very few use social media actively to acquire more customers or to understand future trends.” He describes how being able to follow a user’s online activity has generated impressive results: “Click-through becomes really high, which is far more valuable that advertising on a broader level.”
