PA IT expert, Tom Krohn, is quoted in an article in Finansavisen explaining the success of Indian IT outsourcing companies in Norway.
The piece draws on PA’s and Whitelane Research’s annual survey on the IT sourcing market and highlights how Indian companies have won several prestigious assignments in Norway in recent years.
Tom says: “Indian IT companies have enjoyed phenomenal growth in recent years and have signed agreements with most of the biggest businesses in Norway. This has been at the expense of traditional operators, and it is obvious these firms have helped to create tougher competition in the market.”
Tom explains the Indian players have been quick to focus on targeted sectors and customers, and are skilled when it comes to building relationships: “They also have a cost advantage, an industrialised delivery model and been quick to use their experiences from other countries, especially the US and UK. Customers also perceive them as more flexible and proactive than their competitors, and they have repeatedly won over local and global players.”
