PA is quoted in the Financial Times The Connected Business report. Daniel gives his view on the impact of mobile devices on banking and the opportunities for banks to increase their direct contact with customers – particularly by way of smartphones and tablets.
Commenting on how banks can use tablets, PA points out that “using a tablet at the table allows managers to display a customer’s portfolio positions, change asset allocations and move funds around. Digital demonstrations can also be shared on tablets when client and bank manager are at different locations, each logging on to the same website.
“Using a tablet to talk through financial advice minimises the risk of mis-selling and helps auditors check compliance and ensure the process was correct.”
