Adjusting to the digital world

PA business design expert, Martin Tillisch, is quoted in an article published in Børsen, discussing the digital maturity of companies. Referring to PA’s Digital Barometer, Martin says not all companies are ready to digitise their organisations.

According to Martin, some companies are reluctant to embark on the digital journey as they are dealing with large and complex IT systems. He says: “Some companies choose to do nothing, whereas others are taking small steps towards digitising their organisation or are completely rethinking their entire business.”

Martin cites insurer, Tryg, as an example of a company which has successfully added new IT systems to their old systems.

Martin adds: “Companies must consider what such a change will mean to the different channels within the company, the customer interface and what processes will need to be changed […] Digitisation reduces costs, increases customer satisfaction and, even more importantly, customers demand it.”
