PA Consulting Group in Denmark made a profit of DKK 40 million in 2003

One of Denmark’s largest management consulting companies, PA Consulting Group, made a profit of DKK 40 million in 2003. This represents half the profit of 2002, which was DKK 77 million.
"The result must be described as satisfactory considering the very competitive market", says Managing Director Per Millschou from PA Consulting Group. "The number of consultancies bidding for the same tenders is high, which increases the competition among consulting firms. Fortunately, we have been able to attract and maintain competent employees with an intense focus on delivering value to our clients. Therefore, our financial results are satisfactory".
PA has been able to maintain a full complement of staff in this period. By the end of 2003, 235 people were employed with PA. The year before, the number of employees was 228.
Turnover in 2003 was DKK 296 million, a decrease of 17% compared to the year before, when the turnover was DKK 342 million.
The management group expects 2004 results to be similar to those of 2003.
