Jon Moynihan, Executive Chairman of PA Consulting Group, to chair the one-day conference on 8 June 2004.
PA Consulting Group, the leading international management, systems and technology consultancy, will explore the global phenomenon of offshoring at the Offshore Forum 2004 at the London Marriott Hotel, Marble Arch on 8 June 2004.
The use of offshore operations is a global phenomenon that cannot be ignored. The world economies are undergoing a significant transformation, placing OECD businesses under increasing global competitive pressure. A popular response is to relocate operations to the newly developing economies, but this may not always be the most effective solution.
Chaired by Jon Moynihan, Executive Chairman of PA Consulting Group, the one-day conference will delve into the complexities of offshoring, using some real-life examples. David Bailey, Member of PA’s Management Group, will specifically look at the value dilemma of using offshore operations. This session will focus on the value versus cost debate, highlighting how decisions can be made that both create and retain value.
The keynote address will be delivered by Jon Moynihan from 09:00-09:20. David Bailey will speak on ‘Offshoring – the value dilemma’ from 09:55-10:30. In addition, PA Consulting Group will be leading a faciliation session from 13:00-13;45 which will capture the key implementation issues and challenges raised throughout the morning.
