PA Consulting Group makes two new appointments to International Board - 12 December 2003

PA Consulting Group, the leading global management, systems and technology consultancy, today announced the appointments to its International Board of Michael O'Higgins, head of PA's IT Consulting Group, and Nick Hughes, head of PA's Life Sciences Group. These changes will take effect from 1 January 2004.

Jon Moynihan, Executive Chairman and CEO of PA Consulting Group, commenting on the appointments, said:

"Both Michael and Nick have contributed enormously to PA over the last few years. Looking ahead to 2004, PA will be facing a number of new issues and the Board looks forward to having their wisdom and capabilities added to our discussions going forward."

Michael O'Higgins is Head of IT Consulting at PA Consulting Group. He has 25 years international experience of consultancy on public policy strategy, information systems and change delivery. His UK clients have included most government departments as well as bodies such as the Passport Service and the Office of the e-Envoy. He has also led major assignments throughout the European Union and in Hong Kong. Michael joined PA in 1997.

Nick joined PA in 1987. He is Head of Life Sciences at PA Consulting Group. Life Sciences is PA's centre of consulting excellence into the pharmaceutical industry and provides consulting solutions across the entire value chains of pharmaceuticals, biosciences, medical device, and healthcare provision organisations. Nick holds a degree in Combined Sciences and a Masters degree in Operational Research.
