UbiNetics, the technology spin-out venture of PA Consulting Group, selects Solectron to manufacture GSM products

UbiNetics, the technology venture of PA Consulting Group in Melbourn, Cambridge, UK, has chosen Solectron’s facility in France to manufacture and ship its newest GSM products soon to go into mass production.
Solectron Corporation is the world’s premier supply-chain facilitator for customised electronics technology, manufacturing and service solutions.
Ali Pourtaberi, President of UbiNetics, commented:

UbiNetics was founded in 1999 to provide innovative and complete product development in wireless communications, based on technology developed at parent company, PA Consulting. We now employ over 100 staff at our Cambridge Technology Centre, working closely with our clients to meet their wireless functionality requirements.
