At tonight's Excellence in Mobile Communications Awards Banquet, Frost & Sullivan will recognize UbiNetics Ltd. with the 2004 Excellence in Research Award for core intellectual property (IP) used in multimode 3G mobiles for chip and terminal manufacturers.
Frost & Sullivan presents this Award each year to the company that has demonstrated strong commitment to research and has contributed significantly to the market in terms of adoption, change, and competitive posture within its industry. The company pioneered the provision of 3G test and measurement equipment, which was one of the key drivers in the early rollout of 3G networks.
