Instead of actively trying to manage risks and developments at the offshore location, Boone said, “our experience suggests that firms who mange risks onshore enjoy greater success.” Boone’s advice echoes the trend in firms blending insourced and offshore capabilities. “Only by focusing on insourced leadership, organization, and processes will the full benefits from offshore development be realized,” said Boone.
