Senior management changes are under way at PA Consulting Group as Jon Moynihan hands over the chief executive part of his double role to Bruce Tindale, but retains the title of executive chairman.
Mr Tindale steps up from chief operating officer, a job that he has held for three years at the management, technology and information consultancy. Other changes include Andrew Hooke, who becomes head of government services; Alec MacAndrew, head of technology; John Buckley, who takes on the role of chief operating officer of PA Ventures while Todd Filsinger heads the consultancy's energy practice and is deputy head of its strategy and industries group. The changes follow a review of the management structure and a generation change.
The appointments come as the market begins to pick up. Mr Moynihan said the timing was right to "pass on the baton", as he needs to focus on new issues in 2004, such as refining longer-term strategy.
