Intel's Bryant Brings Business to Changing Role of CIO

PA Consulting Group’s IT strategy expert Hsiu Mei Wong was interviewed for a “Special Report: CEO Guide for the new CIO” on how the role of the chief information officer is changing, and what that means for companies.

Discussing how the role of the CIO is becoming more strategic, Hsiu Mei was quoted in the Special Report. The international 2011 PA Consulting / Harvey Nash CIO Survey of 2500 CIOs was also highlighted in the story.

“The CIO role is changing,” Hsiu Mei was quoted as saying, “because the business environment is changing so radically and very quickly.”

The article presented an example of a transforming CIO, noting that CIOs are becoming innovative, stimulating fresh revenue and helping companies respond better to customers.
