Implementation of sales and marketing resource for a tourism company
Following the termination of a joint venture, a major UK-based travel and tourism company decided to re-establish its packaged tours sales and marketing resource. The successful implementation of this resource depended heavily on having a customer proposition available and in place for the holiday season. PA was asked to assist in the management of the program, which required to: complete the customer proposition and marketing plan, outsource the call center fulfillment requirement, engage the company partner providers, revamp the sales resource’s web site and make its products available through the company’s main Web site, enhance other direct distribution channels, and implement suitable cost and revenue attribution mechanisms. Our assistance provided the necessary focus on delivery and active project management, emphasizing the early identification of risks for this venture.
