Mobilising resources for healthcare in Africa, 21-22 March 2006, London
Mobilising the resources of Africans based outside their country of origin will result in innovative and practical solutions to Africa’s healthcare capacity and help meet the related Millennium Development Goals.
Some topics and questions to be explored include:
- An overview and current focus on Africa’s human resources in healthcare
- Making globalisation work for Africa: diaspora perspective
- Case presentations of programmes adding capacity - what are the obstacles in ensuring effective implementation of current programmes?
