201 Session: New and Enabling Technologies in Healthcare
9.15 hrs - opening address by Dr Stephen Blatcher, a consultant in PA's Drug Delivery Group. Stephen has led many programmes to help companies understand the opportunities and risks associated with developing and manufacturing combination healthcare products, including drug eluting implants and other bio-therapeutic delivery devices. Stephen has been instrumental in helping Med Tec to devise the 201 Session programme.
15.45 hrs - Use of RF Technology in Healthcare: past, present and future. A talk by Peter Morgan, a consultant in PA's Applied Technologies Group, who has experience across the medical device spectrum from implantable devices, through diagnostic probes to point-of-case diagnostics.
200 Session: Validation
14.00 hrs - Lean Product Development - a talk by Stewart Fox : Lean principles, how to apply them, case studies and tips. Stewart has broad experience in the application of Lean to health care product development, and in minimally invasive surgery and cardiology, drug delivery, diagnostics and R&D efficiency.
