Senior Member of PA’s Management Group
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in related area
Work Experience: 15 years of relevant experience
Criterion:  elected as a Senior Partner of PA Consulting Group

Functional responsibilities:

• Senior director responsible for all aspects of engagement including overall client account management, group management, technical and commercial oversight, quality assurance and client satisfaction
• Responsible for insuring that PA’s capabilities are appropriate and performing at appropriate levels of productivity and creativity
• As PA’s most senior consulting staff, provide intellectual leadership to engagement team components and work stream leaders in formulating technical, business and integration strategy, solution development and execution
• Serves as lead PA representative (director) in key presentations to client executives and insures that the full breadth of PA’s expertise, even when outside the project team, is available to the client.

Member of PA’s Management Group
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in related area

• Senior executive responsible for integration of technical work components with change management, educational and communications work components
• Works closely with client executives and provides senior client interface throughout the entire account life cycle to insure full understanding of the client’s objectives and technical requirements and that these are matched by PA’s commitments and work plan

Principal Environmental Planning Specialist
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in related area (or equivalent level of professional and technical experience)
Work Experience: 15 years of relevant experience, or Master's + 13 years, or Doctorate + 11 years

Functional responsibilities:

• Acts as a specialist bringing senior level technical expertise to the assignment at all levels beyond that of the other team members in specialist areas such as environmental impact statements under NEPA; endangered species and/or wetlands analysis; watershed and other natural resource management plans; archeological and/or cultural resource management plans; environmental program management and environmental regulation development; economic, technical and/or risk analysis; vulnerability assessments; biochemical protection; identification and mitigation of threats; and crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Surveys
• Acts as subtask manager on technical subject matter in area of expertise
• Called upon to speak or write in specialist area
• Develops the quality and project plan and responsible for effective supervision of their execution.

• Utilizes depth of experience and refined analytical, technical and communication skills toward the development and implementation of solutions to clients environmental planning problems
• Assists in developing the quality and project plan. Responsible for the day-to-day execution thereof
• Provides expert level skills and supervision of solution design, development and implementation efforts within own area of technological expertise with the support of the project team
• Acts as a specialist bringing technical expertise to the assignment in specialist areas such as environmental impact statements under NEPA; endangered species and/or wetlands analysis; watershed and other natural resource management plans; archeological and/or cultural resource management plans; environmental program management and environmental regulation development; economic, technical and/or risk analysis; vulnerability assessments; biochemical protection; identification and mitigation of threats; and crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Surveys.

Work Experience: 11 years of relevant experience, or Master's + 9 years, or J.D. + 7 years

• Acts as a lawyer or regulatory specialist bringing senior level legal and regulatory expertise to the assignment at all levels beyond that of the other team members, in a specialist area such as environmental impact statements under NEPA; endangered species and/or wetlands analysis; watershed and other natural resource management plans; archeological and/or cultural resource management plans; environmental program management and environmental regulation development; economic, technical and/or risk analysis; vulnerability assessments; biochemical protection; identification and mitigation of threats; and crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Surveys

Functional responsibilities:

• Acts as senior lawyers on an assignment
• Application of legal and communication skills to assist in legal research, drafting documents
• Works with client personnel to assist in environmental planning
• Assists in the conduct of legal analysis and design of improvements to legal and regulatory documents
• Provides interpretation of findings derived from legal research
• Provides legal support to the project manager.

Attorney Level I
Minimum Education: Law degree
Work Experience: JD + 1 year as a lawyer

Functional responsibilities:

• Acts as a junior lawyer to assist senior lawyers on an assignment
• Application of legal and communication skills to assist in legal research, drafting documents
• Works with senior attorneys and client personnel to assist in environmental planning
• Assists in the conduct of legal analysis and design of improvements to legal and regulatory documents
• Provides interpretation of findings derived from legal research
• Provides legal support to the project manager.

Analyst
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in related area (or equivalent level of professional and technical experience)
Work Experience: 1 year of relevant experience

Functional responsibilities:

• Acts as a junior consultant to assist senior consultants on an assignment
• Application of strong analytical, technical and communication skills to assist in implementing environmental planning solutions
• Prepares analyses using structured problem solving/requirements specification frameworks
• Assists in the conduct of complex analysis and design of environmental planning processes, systems, networks, databases, etc.
• Provides interpretation of findings derived from technical information analyses
• Performs design and development work within own area of technological expertise and in support of a team of consultants.

Project Management Senior Administrator
Education: Bachelor's degree in related area (Master's Degree, JD in related area, or PhD preferred)
Work Experience: 8-12 years of relevant experience

Functional responsibilities:

• Have expertise in such specific functional areas contract management, finance, human resources, accounting, and home office coordination.  Project Management Administrators must:
  • Demonstrate high technical ability or the ability to assimilate and apply information from unrelated fields
  • Exercise high levels of analytical ability in the definition of problems, and can identify technical or functional issues relating to own responsibility areas
  • Actively guide, motivate and develop teams of people in order to enhance results effectively
  • Support development of team members through the provision of formal and informal feedback, coaching, mentoring and related skills, and through support for formal training and development activity.
     

Project Management Administrator
Education: Bachelor's Degree in related area (Master's degree preferred)
Work Experience: 3-8 years of relevant experience

Functional responsibilities:

• Have expertise in such specific functional areas contract management, finance, human resources, accounting, and home office coordination.  Project Management Administrators must:
  • Demonstrate high technical ability or the ability to assimilate and apply information from unrelated fields
  • Exercise high levels of analytical ability in the definition of problems, and can identify technical or functional issues relating to own responsibility areas
  • Show high levels of technical skill and the breadth of experience to coordinate small teams of people whose expertise lies in a number of related fields.

Junior Project Management Administrator
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in related area (or equivalent level of professional and technical experience)
