Senior Managing Consultant
Work experience: 12+ years of relevant experience
Functional responsibilities:
- Senior project leader responsible for all aspects of engagement including overall project management, technical and commercial oversight, quality assurance and client satisfaction
- Senior IT executive responsible for integration of technical work components with change management, educational and communications work components
- Works closely with client executives and provides senior client interface throughout the entire account life cycle to ensure full understanding of the client’s IT business objectives and technical requirements and that these are matched by PA’s commitments and work plan
- Responsible for insuring that PA’s capabilities are appropriate and performing at appropriate levels of productivity and creativit
- As PA’s most senior IT consulting staff, they provide intellectual leadership to engagement team components and work stream leaders in formulating technical, business and integration strategy, solution development and execution
- Serves as lead PA representative in key presentations to client executives and ensures that the full breadth of PA’s expertise, even when outside the project team, is available to the client.
Managing Consultant
Work experience: 9-15 years of relevant experience
Functional responsibilities:
- Develops the quality and project plan and responsible for effective supervision of their execution
- Facilitates solution design, process improvement and problem solving teams
- Acts as a specialist bringing senior level technical expertise to the assignment at all levels beyond that of the other team members. Called upon to speak or write in specialist areas such as outsourcing, infrastructure, management, strategy, or systems implementation
- Business development responsibilities include key account management, team leadership, selling, and bid and assignment management
- Develops and maintains senior-level contacts and interactions within client organizations
- Acts as Assignment Manager/Project Manager/Director.
Principal Consultant
Work experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience
Functional responsibilities:
- Utilizes depth of experience and refined analytical, technical and communication skills to direct the development and implementation of business and technical solutions
- Manages small and medium sized assignments and supervises teams of consultants
- Interacts with client personnel at the supervisory and management levels
- Assists in developing the quality and project plan. Responsible for the day-to-day execution thereof
- Provides expert level skills and supervision of solution design, development and implementation efforts within own area of technological expertise with the support of the project team.
Consultant
Work experience: 4-7 years of relevant experience
Functional responsibilities:
- Application of strong analytical, technical and communication skills to assist in the development and implementation of business and technical solutions
- Provides work-stream leadership within groups of consultants and client personnel to identify strategic opportunities for business improvement through insightful deployment of IT
- Manages small projects and supervises small teams of analysts/consultant analysts. Interacts with client personnel at the supervisory level
- Conducts complex analysis and solutions design of IT management processes, systems, networks, databases, etc.
- Provides interpretation and presentation of findings derived from business and technical information analyses
- Directs the completion of solution design and development work within own area of technological expertise with the support of a team of consultants.
Consultant Analyst
Work experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
Functional responsibilities:
- Application of strong analytical, technical and communication skills to assist in implementing business and technical solutions
- Works with groups of consultants and client personnel to assist in identifying strategic opportunities for business improvement through insightful deployment of IT
- Prepares analyses using structured problem solving/requirements specification frameworks
- Assists in the conduct of complex analysis and design of IT management processes, systems, networks, databases, etc.
- Provides interpretation of findings derived from business and technical information analyses
- Design and development work within own area of technological expertise and in support of a team of consultants.
Analyst
Work experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience
Functional responsibilities:
- Application of strong analytical, technical and communication skills to assist in implementing business and technical solutions
- Supports requirements analyses through the research and collection of data and information necessary for preparation of analyses using structured problem solving/requirements specification frameworks
- Project office support tasks
- Performance of programming and implementation tasks according to specifications for IT systems, networking, databases, etc.
