Children’s services play a critical role in supporting children and families to improve the lives and outcomes for children and young people in England. We understand that making centrally defined initiatives work at a local level can be challenging given the diverse workforce.

Our recent work includes helping our clients:

• translate policy requirements into a programme of delivery, in a user-friendly way

• design and deliver IT systems, business processes and associated change initiatives to support practitioners in their work with children

• help individual local authorities and local service providers to tailor central initiatives to deliver local benefits

• support and deliver the national roll-out of Sure Start Children’s Centres

• improve integrated working and information sharing nationally across the children’s workforce by helping to implement three national IT systems to be used by local authorities (LAs) and national organisations

• support local authorities across England to deliver 2500 children’s centres from the 1,000 children’s centres created in the first phase.
