Service as a service – join our CIO Forum
On 14 April 2011, PA is hosting a CIO Forum in London to discuss 'Service as a service: achieving major savings through innovative IT-enabled change'.
Organisations are facing challenging times as its markets remain weak and business leaders are in an era in which more must be achieved with less. To achieve this, organisations need to revisit how their business services are configured and operated.
Our guest speaker, Bill Louv, CIO of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Senior Vice President of Core Business Services (CBS) (external link) is responsible for delivering sustainable savings and increased efficiencies for GSK's global shared business services. CBS is seen as a pillar of GSK's strategy of simplifying its business model and diversifying its business profile to mitigate the risks related to the mainstream business of drug discovery, development and commercialisation.
Bill will share his experience of delivering major savings from IT
through innovation in service delivery to enable business change.
