At PA Consulting Group we are working with companies at both the strategic and technology level to realise the benefits and value from improving inhaled therapy. We are involved with some exciting projects such as helping to implement telehealth for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease by equipping them to monitor vital signs at home with remote support from clinicians.
At this year’s Respiratory Drug Delivery conference, we focused on two aspects: inhalation technology of the future and anti-illicit trade strategies.
Inhalation technology of the future
We are keen to discuss where you think inhaled technology is going in the next 10 years and if technology is even the answer. We are currently carrying out a survey within the industry to get your views on the 'Inhaler of the Future'. We will analyse the results of the survey and produce a report that will be sent to all those who have taken part.
Anti-illicit trade
Emerging Markets present a large and growing opportunity for respiratory medicines. Counterfeit drugs are a significant problem around the world but particularly in the Emerging Markets. New market-specific regulatory initiatives are in place to prevent the trade of counterfeit drugs and companies must comply with these regulations to sell their product. What are the implications for you?
