We continue to bring innovative thinking and solutions to market
ProcServe, our one Venture company, continues to make pleasing operating progress, despite the challenging market conditions. In 2009, ProcServe signed up a number of new clients in both the public and private sectors in the UK, furthering the company’s reach and delivering real savings for these organisations. ProcServe’s brand awareness continued to increase during 2009; in particular, its Zanzibar system was named in an influential UK government report as being crucial to delivering large and needed government savings. The current drive for improved procurement processes in both the public and private sectors in the UK represents an opportunity for ProcServe to build on its success in the coming year.
Throughout this difficult time, our consultants continued to deliver great work across a wide variety of industries, geographies and client services.
Our technology arm also continues to bring exciting new innovations to market. For example, during 2009, we worked with Centocor R&D to develop the SmartJect™ autoinjector, the world’s first pre-filled, single use, disposable autoinjector, which fully automates the injection cycle with an ergonomic design that enables patients and carers to administer their own injections quickly and easily. We are proud to be involved in bringing to market products that make a tangible difference to people’s lives.
